Using drum replacement on separated stems

ReStem 2 includes Drumagog’s replacement engine on every stem: load a sample (.gog or WAV), set sensitivity, and blend replaced against original. Because replacement runs on the separated stem, it triggers off just that drum.

Tips:

  • Blend is your friend: 100% replacement can sound too clean; 50–70% usually works well.
  • Replacement with no sample loaded simply passes the stem through dry.
  • .gog libraries from Drumagog work as-is.
